I thought that since I have been such a slacker with my blog that I would send out a quick update. We are doing well. The closing of our house has been pushed off to the 15th of June, because the loan appraiser who looked at our house on the 5th of May did not get any paperwork to us until the 28th. He declared that the house was unlivable without a dishwasher and a painted kitchen. Who knew? But the good news is that Fannie Mae has agreed to paint and do all the other stuff on the list and we should be living in a new home by the end of the month. Then we can worry about what to do with this one. We will try to rent it for awhile.
Max is still the cutest thing ever living. We drove by Chuck E Cheese today and he yelled, "Dad, where are you going? I want that way." It was really sad. He loves going to the pool. We took him to a water park in Branson last Saturday and he had a ball. He is so brave he climbed up these cargo nets and went down big slides all by himself. He didn't want to leave. His teeth were chattering at the end but he wanted to keep going. We have begun the early stages of potty training, mostly because he always wants to go to the potty.
Our Sable is dead again. Jeff is sad and it has been a hassle to say the least but at least we didn't put the $1000+ that the repair guy wanted to fix the shocks. (which was not why it died) So we are a one car family for awhile. Max keeps pointing at the car and saying, "Dada car broken." And sometimes just "Dada broken," which accurately describes how Jeff feels about it.
Mae is doing well and is already a champion kicker. Her best hours are from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. I hope this does not continue once she joins us. I scored big time at the Associate Store and got her lots of cute outfits for this winter for two bucks a piece, which is good cause I have a feeling that I will be spending too much on this girls wardrobe. We are working on teaching Max to say Baby Mae, it is pretty cute.
I have been a bit overwhelmed lately with the whole house situation. My house is currently half packed which is really irritating. Mae is still riding way too low and therefore I have to use the restroom at least 20 times a day (not exaggerating) I am starting to wonder what this will do to my water bill. But on the plus side it does make Max want to go potty. Today I am weirdly exhausted and lacking blood pressure, I hope it goes away soon. All things considered, life is good, stressful, but good.
