Last week I went for a run after spending the previous day in bed with food poisoning. I had skipped the Saturday before for my garage sale and so it was already set to be a sluggish run. I got a late start and didn't make it out until 1 and by that time it was already around 70+ degrees. Ooof I forgot how miserable hot running feels. I am actually looking forward to tomorrow's 30 degree run. It will be cold and long, (I'm shooting for 12 miles,) but it will also be my last long run before the big day. I figure next Saturday I'll go for 7-8 miles. I finally signed up officially, (meaning I finally paid,) and now I am ready for it to be over, and terrified of getting sick. It is tempting to not send Max to school that Thursday and Friday just to make sure he doesn't bring anything home. I am glad that I decided to do this though. I am not one for setting goals so it was a nice experience.

here are all my comments in one shot:
i understand being over facebook. i just try to ignore it when i'm frustrated over it because i figure someday i really want to see what people are doing or get addresses for something!
i hate garage sales. i love finding things at them but i hate having them for myself. the last one i did was a huge bust-tons of work, blazingly hot and i barely made enough for a dinner out after all the work and sweating. yuck. it will be a while before i'm not jaded about it. i feel similarly about consigning to those kid clothes sales.
you are amazing for running! run down here! it's been too long since we've seen you!
