I love primary. Ever since I graduated college I have felt out of place and even a bit annoyed in Sunday School and Relief Society. It has nothing to do with the various wards or teachers, but more with me not able to sit and concentrate on deep doctrine (Sunday School) or 30 min of announcements and fluff (Relief Society.) I was ancier then a sunbeam after sacrament and often just skipped the last two hours all together. This all changed a year ago when I was called to primary. I don't know if it is the lessons, the kids, the snacks, or the singing time, but something about that place just rocks for me. It is so much fun. I wish there were songs with actions in Relief Society or lessons that required people to go up to the board and pick pictures. I was a bit worried that when the classes changed at the first of the year that my happiness would lessen, but my new class is great too. I even watched the Sunbeams today and loved all of it. It is not always perfect, (like guard duty at the primary door, and over crowded classes,) but it has strengthened my testimony in the gospel and more importantly for me right now, in the actual church organizations. I love these kids and I love my calling!

Well said-I think you have been as good for primary as it has been for you. I love when I have a calling where I feel like I'm needed and actually contributing and doing something good and useful. And how awesome is that new nursery manual?! I bought one a few months ago and we use it for FHE lessons all the time.
Thanks so much for taking the sunbeam class Sunday! I can't imagine the amount of stress that class can induce, and I am always worried about how my son will behave, and it's good to hear when the teacher enjoys it!!! THANKS!
I agree! I love Primary too! I especially love treat days :) I need to think of more hand motions for songs. It so helps the little guys. Not to mention its fun for everyone else to see them up in front of the congregation singing and having the few kids that just can't do it without waving there arms high up over there head, stretching there arms out wide, etc. I love it.
Well I'm thankful for all of you that love being in Primary. All teachers just don't get paid enough. Thanks for all you do!!
