Fiber None
So my mom had some health problems this last year, and having met her deductible and then some she got a lot of health stuff done at the end of the year for free. Due to the deteriorating health of her brother, and mother, she decided to get a colonoscopy. Fun for her! Anyway it would seem that the same colon problems that her dad died of, and her mom and brother have, are headed her (and via bad genes) my way. So I got a very long phone conversation on the benefits of a high fiber diet. I have therefore stepped up the fiber. Ooof all I have to say about the last week and a half is that if it is between a high fiber diet and a early death...I'll take the early death.

I currently need more fiber! (how's that for tmi? If that were a facebook status, I'd totally unfriend the person who posted it.) What are you eating?
This is a favorite high-fiber dish of ours: http://saucycuisine.com/2011/04/09/rice-grain-legume-rice-bean-cereal/quinoa-under-stained-glass-vegetables (I don't use the onions). I have always had to be aware of fiber and Addison seems to have a similar issue, so fiber comes up about 20 times a day at our house.
Fiber One Cereal - the basic kind is loaded with fiber. It doesn't taste great, but it is good for fiber.
You'd better feed Jeff some of that extra fiber too. Especially with his father having colon cancer last summer.
