Sweetie Boy

That is the nick name that my mom keeps trying to give Max.  Neither he nor I like it, but I can see why she calls him that.  Max is the sweetest boy I have ever known.  He has been adorably sweet to me the last few days as I have lain in bed.  He prays for me, gives me his stuffies for company and is constantly asking if I need anything.  His concern for my well being is so genuine, it's refreshing.  I won't say that he hasn't been struggling these last few weeks without preschool, he has.  (I have even been shocked and embrassed by his behavior at a few friends houses lately.)  So it has been nice to see the sweet side of him again.  It is a reminder to me of who he really is and that the other problems we have are just growing pains.

Some Max Info.
He is currently into the Avengers.  That is his latest obsession, although he still likes Spiderman and the occasional Star Wars.

He starts school August 1st.  (Year round all day kindergarten.)

His best friend is Andrew and we have to keep reminding him that if Andrew doesn't want to be hugged then don't hug him.

He is a fairly good eater for a kid.  He eats more veggies then Jeff, and will usually try anything.

No he doesn't read, but this is cause I am a lazy parent.  But hey atleast I won't be annoying and talk about how bored he is in Kindergarten.

We have a chore chart for him now and he can earn a dollar a week with the possibility of another for extra chores.

He switches between saving up his money to visit grandma and grandpa Tobler on their farm and saving up for Lego Batman II  for the playstation.

He always wants to talk to Grandma and Grandpa Tobler on the phone for a few min. then loses focus and hands the phone back to me.

He has this awful face he makes for pictures.  He does this weird eye squint thingy that reminds me of Chandler on the episode of Friends where they get their engagement pictures taken.

When he draws any person he gives them a large circle in their center.  So I guess he sees everyone as potbellied.

He always wants me to play with him, and yet he never wants to play with Mae.  He hates having her come into his room.  Their three year age difference is really starting to show.  I don't know if school will help or hurt this.

He encourages me to exercise.  He always wants me to start the program but loses interest within two min.  He is good about coming in sporatically to tell me i'm doing a good job.

He is a great first kid that spoiled us into thinking parenting is easy.   If it weren't so we wouldn't have had the others.
